Seth James Campbell was born on June 21st, 1989 to James and Linda Campbell right outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Seth moved with his family to Columbia, Tennessee at 3 years of age. He attended Woodard Elementary, Whitthorne Middle, and Columbia Central High School. After graduating in the top 1/4th of his class at Columbia Central, Seth earned his Associate’s Degree from Columbia State Community College. He then transferred to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and graduated with honors. Seth then transitioned to the graduate program, earned his Master’s Degree in Education, and began student teaching shortly thereafter.
For the past several years, Seth has taught at the King’s Daughters’ Center for Autism in Columbia. Today, he continues to work with children at Centerstone of Maury County. Seth has also spent time in Peru working in the field of special education and helping disabled youth and adults alike. In 2011, Seth interned in the Washington, D.C. office of Senator Lamar Alexander where he further learned about the legislative process. This experience gave Seth the working insight and knowledge to help citizens of Maury County.
During his free time, Seth enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He enjoys hiking and jogging, and often participates in races for various charities throughout Tennessee. Seth frequents local businesses throughout Maury County, is an active member of the Kiwanis, and was voted Chairman of the Maury County Democratic Party in March 2017.
